Rabun County Budget Hearings

The Budget Hearing process is where decisions are made that determine what property taxes will be. Meetings are usually held in the Commissioner Conference room. Everyone is invited to attend.

Budget Hearings for the FY 2009/2010 will be held at the Rabun County Courthouse as follows:

Tuesday, March 24th – 9:00AM

Tuesday, March 31st – 5:00PM

Thursday, April 2nd – 5:00PM

Tuesday, April 7th – 5:00PM

Thursday, April 9th – 5:00PM

Tuesday, April 14th – 5:00PM

Tuesday, April 21st – 5:00PM

Thursday, April 23rd – 5PM – Review Preliminary Budget

Tuesday, May 12th – Public Hearing on Budget – 9:00AM

Special Called meeting to approve Preliminary Budget 9:30AM

Tuesday, May 26th – Final Adoption will be held at 5:15PM
